The monolithic piezoceramic tube actuators of the piezo tube series contract radially and axially when a voltage is applied between the inner and outer electrodes. Piezo tube actuators are frequently employed in scanning probe microscopes as fiber stretchers and to enable dynamic scanning motions in open-loop operation. Additionally, they are used for microdosing duties in inkjet printers or nanoliter pumps.
The closest tolerances (0.05 mm) are used in the fabrication of piezo tube actuators. We are able to offer tubes with a 0.8 mm diameter.
